We are looking for an experienced Manager to join our rapidly growing Finance Transformation and Automation practice, with a focus on Order to Cash transformation. This dynamic team is part of our broader Finance Transformation solution focused on modernizing the office of the CFO. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to help clients improve business processes, reduce operational risk, and drive value through process improvement, automation, and technology-enabled transformation.

As a Manager, you will use your experience and knowledge to help clients improve their Order to Cash operations through services such as finance process advisory, process optimization, project delivery, and technology-enabled transformation. This role is focused on leading client projects, managing delivery execution, leading and mentoring delivery teams, supporting executive stakeholder communications, identifying and managing project risks, and contributing to sales and pursuit efforts.

The ideal candidate will be a strong Order to Cash process expert with system implementation experience and the ability to lead gloabl project teams, manage project motions, support client executives, and contribute to business development activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Order to Cash transformation and automation projects, including day-to-day project management, delivery coordination, risk management, issue resolution, executive reporting, and overall project governance.
  • Serve as the day-to-day leader of delivery teams, establishing accountability, managing team priorities, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and driving successful client outcomes.
  • Mentor, coach, and guide consultants in US and India through active feedback, knowledge sharing, delivery guidance, and career development support.
  • Create a positive delivery team environment that encourages collaboration, ownership, continuous learning, and professional growth.
  • Serve as a trusted day-to-day advisor to client stakeholders by translating business needs into actionable project plans, process improvements, and practical recommendations.
  • Guide project teams through the full project lifecycle, including discovery, current-state assessment, future-state design, requirements definition, implementation support, testing, change management, and value realization.
  • Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, decisions, and stakeholder expectations to help ensure successful delivery outcomes.
  • Support executive leadership communications by reviewing status updates, decision materials, project dashboards, and key messages for client sponsors and internal leadership.
  • Apply strong Order to Cash process expertise across areas such as billing, accounts receivable, credit management, collections, cash application, disputes and deductions, customer master data, and reporting.
  • Analyze and optimize Order to Cash processes, including documentation of current-state pain points, future-state recommendations, operating model considerations, and automation opportunities.
  • Support sales cycles by contributing to discovery conversations, proposal development, solution shaping, pursuit materials, client presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and follow-up activities.
  • Help execute practice go-to-market motions, including campaign participation, solution development, client events, thought leadership, and pursuit support.
  • Support strategic alliance relationships by collaborating with technology partners, participating in joint pursuits, supporting partner-led discussions, and helping identify opportunities within the partner ecosystem.
  • Partner with Directors and senior practice leaders to identify expansion opportunities within existing client relationships and contribute to pipeline development.
  • Maintain awareness of the Order to Cash technology market and leading automation platforms, including how technology can support process transformation and business outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of practice methodologies, solution offerings, reusable intellectual property, and delivery assets that support market growth and consistent delivery quality.
  • Work collaboratively across client teams, internal delivery teams, alliance partners, and firm leadership to deliver high-quality client outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, Order to Cash, business process improvement, finance transformation, technology consulting, or professional services.
  • Strong Order to Cash process knowledge, including experience with one or more areas such as billing, accounts receivable, collections, credit, cash application, disputes, deductions, customer master data, or related finance operations.
  • Familiarity with Order to Cash technology solutions and market trends preferred, including platforms such as HighRadius, BlackLine AR, Esker, Sidetrade, Versapay, YayPay, or similar solutions.
  • Experience leading project workstreams or managing projects, including project planning, status reporting, risk and issue management, stakeholder coordination, and delivery execution.
  • Experience leading delivery teams and mentoring consultants or senior consultants, including providing day-to-day guidance, feedback, and development support.
  • Strong leadership skills, executive presence, and ability to communicate effectively with client stakeholders, project teams, and internal leadership.
  • Ability to translate business requirements, process pain points, and technology capabilities into clear recommendations and actionable project steps.
  • Strong ability to anticipate and address client concerns, break down complex issues, and drive alignment across stakeholders.
  • Strong communicator who works well with clients and teams, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and can operate independently.
  • Travel expectations of 30% or greater.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Consulting or professional services experience.
  • Prior experience supporting sales, pre-sales, proposal development, client discovery, pursuit activities, go-to-market initiatives, or alliance partner activities.
  • Corporate or industry accounting experience.
  • Previous experience with operational process reviews, internal controls, or finance transformation initiatives.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $107,000 - $214,500

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
