The Senior Readiness Program Manager - Optum Insight Payer Market Readiness leads cross-functional programs that strengthen payer sales readiness. This role owns end-to-end program management, including defining scope and requirements, building roadmaps and workplans, managing timelines and dependencies, aligning resources, and driving delivery through a clear operating rhythm and governance model. The Senior Program Manager partners across Growth, Market, Product, and Sales Operations to identify risks and remove blockers, manage change and communications, and provide executive-ready status reporting and KPI measurement. Key initiatives include onboarding, role-based learning, certifications, and accelerating seller readiness to improve adoption, protect revenue impact, and maintain client retention.

For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Own the end-to-end program strategy and operating rhythm for payer market readiness, including annual/quarterly planning, roadmap management, and stakeholder alignment across matrix partners
  • Establish and manage role-based certification programs for new hires and existing team members, including standards, assessment methodology, and completion tracking
  • Translate Payer Market and partner needs into prioritized program requirements; define scope, success metrics (KPIs), and measurement approach to demonstrate impact on adoption, pipeline, and retention
  • Develop program governance, processes, and tools to improve go-to-market efficiency, ensure consistent execution, and reduce friction for Payer Market teams
  • Plan and deliver recurring communications and learning forums (e.g., open mic/training sessions), managing the enablement calendar, facilitation plan, and content readiness
  • Lead enablement workstreams for strategic product launches and sales promotion campaigns, ensuring messaging, training, and tools are delivered on time and adopted by the Payer Market
  • Drive awareness and consistent articulation of the Optum Insight Payer Value Story through standardized playbooks, talk tracks, and reinforcement mechanisms
  • Identify, establish, and implement scalable frameworks, processes, and tools that improve go-to-market efficiency and readiness across the payer portfolio
  • Maintain tailored onboarding learning paths for Payer Market roles, ensuring a consistent, high-quality onboarding experience and time-to-productivity improvements
  • Build and maintain knowledge management tools and processes (e.g., SharePoint sites, repositories, and templates) to ensure Optum Insight product information is effectively disseminated, current, and understood by Optum Insight Payer Market teams

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
  • Program Management: 5+ years leading complex, cross-functional programs in a matrixed, deadline-driven environment; experience building operating rhythms, governance, and stakeholder alignment
  • Sales Enablement / Sales Operations: 5+ years of experience designing and delivering enablement programs (onboarding, continuous learning, certifications) that drive adoption and measurable business outcomes
  • Measurement & Analytics: Ability to define success metrics (KPIs), build measurement approaches, and translate insights into program improvements
  • Tools: Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams; ability to create program materials and executive-ready updates
  • SharePoint: Advanced skills in SharePoint and platform-specific tools for knowledge management and content governance
  • Communication & Influence: Proven solid written/verbal communication, facilitation, and ability to influence across senior stakeholders
  • Organizational Skills: Proven solid prioritization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently
  • Change Leadership: Comfortable driving adoption through change management, training reinforcement, and ambiguity

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
