Summary

Are you an experienced IT leader passionate about driving operational excellence in mission-critical environments? We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to lead and oversee enterprise IT operations supporting Federal Government and Department of Defense (DoD) missions.

** This position is contingent upon contract award ** 


Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day management and strategic direction of enterprise IT operations and service delivery activities.
  • Oversee implementation and execution of Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) best practices to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Manage operational performance across infrastructure, systems administration, networks, cybersecurity, and customer support functions.
  • Establish operational objectives, priorities, and performance metrics aligned with customer and organizational goals.
  • Direct technical teams responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and compliant IT environments.
  • Monitor service levels, system availability, incident response, change management, problem management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and governance processes.
  • Coordinate resources across multiple functional areas to support mission requirements and program objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements, RMF standards, information assurance policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Analyze operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Provide leadership in incident management, escalation resolution, and operational decision-making.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in IT Operations utilizing IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices within a Federal Government environment, preferably within the Department of Defense.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in a senior IT management role supporting Federal Government or DoD customers.
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical operations teams supporting enterprise-scale environments.
  • Current DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II certification required.
  • Active TS clearance. 
  • Successfully pass background and drug screening

 

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and systems engineering principles.
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Ability to provide technical oversight across multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of information assurance and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
