Commercial Account Manager - Oilfield

We are looking for a results-driven Commercial Account Manager - Oilfield to lead sales strategy, develop a high-performing team, and drive revenue growth and profitability.

Location: Midland, TX

What You'll Do:

Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with oilfield customers, including key accounts within assigned territory
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer operations, challenges, and technical requirements
  • Meet or exceed sales and gross profit goals established in collaboration with leadership
  • Present RelaDyne's oilfield-focused products, services, and value-added solutions to customers
  • Maintain consistent communication to ensure timely follow-up on orders, service needs, and project requirements
  • Maintain and update customer pricing, contracts, and account details within company systems
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive service and issue resolution

Sales Growth and Territory Management

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the oilfield and energy segment
  • Expand existing accounts by increasing share of wallet and introducing new products and services
  • Develop and execute account plans aligned with territory growth objectives
  • Maintain an active and accurate sales pipeline within CRM systems
  • Monitor market conditions, drilling activity, and customer demand trends to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with vendor partners to introduce new solutions and technologies to customers

Collaboration and Leadership

  • Partner with inside sales and sales support teams to coordinateaccountactivity and improve service delivery
  • Support and mentor internal team members on account strategy and customer engagement
  • Participate in territory planning and contribute to overall regional sales strategy
  • Build strong relationships with vendor partners to enhance product knowledge and market positioning

Operational Support and Communication

  • Maintain consistent communication with leadership regarding market dynamics, pricing, and competitive activity
  • Develop and maintain weekly sales itineraries and activity reporting
  • Ensure accuracy of customer data, pricing, and activity within Salesforce or CRM systems
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and service execution
  • Partner with credit and finance teams to manage account receivables and resolve outstanding balances

Professional Representation and Compliance

  • Represent RelaDyne professionally in all customer and industry interactions
  • Comply with all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Support corporate initiatives, programs, and strategic objectives
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and travel within assigned territory as required

What You Bring:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administrationor a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant sales experience.
  • 5+ yearsof experience in sales, customer service, or account management, preferably within industrial distribution, energy, lubricants, or related industries.
  • Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts within a technical or field-based environment
  • Strong understanding of oilfield operations, customer needs, and service expectations (upstream experience preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships at multiple levels within an organization
  • Strong sales acumen, including prospecting, pipeline management, and closing skills
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend tailored solutions across products and services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer insights to drive decision-making
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling into upstream oil and gas, drilling, or production environments
  • Technical knowledge of lubricants, fuel applications, or reliability services in oilfield operations
  • Established network within oilfield or energy customer base
