Sales Training Development Specialist
Position Summary
LHH is seeking a Sales Training Development Specialist for a contract opportunity based in St. Paul, Minnesota. This position will play a key role in enhancing and modernizing the sales onboarding experience by transforming existing training materials into structured, engaging, and scalable learning resources. The ideal candidate will partner with leadership and stakeholders to organize and streamline onboarding content, develop training tools, and support important field meetings and training initiatives throughout the organization.

Location: St. Paul, MN (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour

Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate existing sales training content, onboarding documentation, and learning materials.
  • Convert current resources into user-friendly onboarding guides, job aids, reference materials, checklists, and learning activities.
  • Organize content to support a consistent and scalable onboarding experience for new sales representatives.
  • Develop and update training documentation to ensure information is clear, accurate, and easy to navigate.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect, organize, and standardize training content.
  • Assist with preparation and execution of field meetings, including agenda development, presentation materials, handouts, and training resources.
  • Support learning initiatives by creating foundational content that can later be incorporated into formal training programs and learning modules.
  • Maintain training documentation and ensure materials reflect current processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve onboarding effectiveness, training consistency, and knowledge transfer across sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Revamp and enhance sales representative onboarding materials and processes.
  • Create comprehensive onboarding guides, training manuals, job aids, and checklists.
  • Develop engaging learning activities and support materials for new hire training.
  • Prepare training content and documentation for future conversion into digital learning modules.
  • Support planning and execution of organizational and field training meetings.
  • Develop presentation materials, facilitator guides, and participant resources.
  • Ensure all training and onboarding materials are organized, accessible, and professionally formatted.
  • Assist with documentation management through Microsoft Office and collaboration platforms.
  • Contribute to the development of standardized learning experiences that support business growth and employee success.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including:
    • Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook / Teams / SharePoint / OneNote
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working through changing priorities and evolving project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience creating training materials, onboarding content, instructional resources, or process documentation.
  • Previous experience supporting employee training, learning and development, sales enablement, or onboarding initiatives.
  • Strong document design and presentation development skills.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, training sessions, workshops, or corporate events.
  • Ability to simplify complex information into clear and effective learning materials.
Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
