What makes this role important at Ipsos?
A Senior Project Manager at Ipsos within Ipsos has the opportunity to strategically shape and contribute significantly to the realm of product testing operations. You will be working in close collaboration with our research and operation teams, to deliver projects that have a tangible impact on our clients' business. This role centers on managing product testing initiatives and ensuring seamless execution. You will lead the end-to-end management of projects, including technical set up, recruiting and in field management. This includes managing the recruitment of participants via online panels, ensuring adherence to strict qualifications and demographic quotas. You will facilitate and schedule product shipping through our logistics partners and manage reminders to boost completion rates.
What you can expect to be doing:
  • Spearhead large and complex product testing projects, ensuring efficient operations from planning to closure, including overseeing client expectations effectively.
  • Serve as a trusted contact point. Coordinate with Operations, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee the scheduling and successful execution of product shipments and testing schedules.
  • Continuously work on improving processes to find smarter ways of working, especially concerning participant recruitment and product testing logistics.
  • Thoroughly reviews all project specifications with internal Client Service contact at beginning of each project
  • Manages Client Service's expectations about timing and cost
  • Coordinate with the following internal departments: Quotation, Scripting, Translation, Sampling, Design and Coding/Data or outside vendors as necessary throughout project lifecycle
  • Conducts questionnaire review prior to survey programming and suggests improvements and any potential problems
  • Obtains all materials necessary and advises on format required (including, questionnaire, images, video files, schematics)
  • Notifies Client of any change to timing and/or budget throughout life cycle of project. Obtains approval for additional budget when applicable
  • Tests programmed survey to ensure it meets specifications of Word document provided by Client
  • Coordinates pre-test when applicable to test for incidence, response rate, problem areas
  • Provides daily updates about study performance to Client Service
  • Creates complex reports in to meet Client needs
  • Acts as troubleshooter and problem solver throughout life cycle of project
  • Is quick to identify any issues requiring escalation and act as appropriate
  • Ensures work is always delivered with highest level of quality

This might be the job for you if you have:
  • Proven experience in quantitative and project management at a Senior Project Manager level, preferably with a PMP certification.
  • Minimum 2 years supplier-side market research experience with in-depth knowledge of the Internet as a data collection tool, and a strong methodological background.
  • Expertise in product testing operations, including Central Location Testing.
  • Robust knowledge of online panel participant recruitment methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills with demonstrable experience in client management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Project Management software.
  • Knowledge of all research methods, particularly online research methods
  • Understands sampling methodology, incidence, quotas, and response rates
  • Understands panels, particularly online panels
  • Familiarity and understanding of the online data collection platforms system, particularly in reporting
  • Ability to grasp and understand new technologies quickly (e.g. multi-media)
  • Highly proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong client service orientation
  • Highly motivated, self-directed & possessing a driven personality capable of working within tight deadlines
  • Superior organizational skills, unflagging attention to detail & demonstrated commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information
  • Capable of working under minimal supervision with a high level of initiative, energy & enthusiasm for learning

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $60,000 to $72,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
