Job description

A growing skilled nursing organization is seeking an experienced Director of Payroll to lead payroll operations across multiple facilities.

This is a hands-on corporate leadership role responsible for owning the entire payroll function from start to finish. The ideal candidate is a true payroll expert who can operate independently, oversee complex multi-facility payroll operations, and serve as the organization's payroll subject matter expert without relying on HR leadership for day-to-day guidance.

Key Responsibilities
• Own the payroll process from start to finish across multiple facilities
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees
• Manage payroll tax compliance, reporting, and reconciliations
• Oversee payroll deductions, employee benefits, garnishments, and related processes
• Develop, implement, and maintain payroll policies and procedures
• Supervise and mentor payroll team members
• Partner with HR, Finance, and facility leadership on payroll-related initiatives
• Lead payroll audits, process improvements, and system enhancements

Qualifications
