We are seeking an experienced Director of Facilities Operations to lead and oversee a team that includes Housekeeping, Engineering, Grounds, Security, Transportation, and Communications. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all community facilities while maintaining a clean, secure, sanitary, and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The Director will ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Erickson Senior Living policies and standards, while driving operational excellence, supporting essential community services, overseeing critical infrastructure and communication systems, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Compensation:

  • Commensurate with experience, starting at $125,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

How you will make an impact

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Facilities Operations, ensuring the effective maintenance of buildings, grounds, roads, equipment, and infrastructure to support a safe, sanitary, secure, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
  • Direct the delivery of essential support services, including Transportation, Security, Reception, Communications, and Facility Services, ensuring exceptional service and resident satisfaction.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor departmental leaders and team members, fostering a high-performance culture through effective workforce planning, training, performance management, succession planning, and individual development programs.
  • Establish and execute departmental, community, and corporate goals and initiatives, implementing systems, processes, and performance measures that drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee departmental budgets and financial performance, ensuring sound fiscal management, cost-effective operations, and achievement of established financial objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, Erickson Senior Living standards, and organizational policies while demonstrating strong technical expertise, leadership, and commitment to The Erickson Way.

What you will need

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in General Services / Facilities Operations
  • Minimum 10 Hour OSHA training required within 1 year of hire
  • Ability to initiate and implement necessary plans to assure proper maintenance of facilities
  • Experience with CMMS is preferred
  • Valid driver's license is required if operating Community vehicles
