Responsibilities

Supports digital initiatives that advance the organization's online presence and patient engagement across the website and mobile app. This role supports website content management, digital marketing initiatives, and digital operations while helping maintain a high-quality digital experience for patients and consumers. The Digital Marketing Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to execute digital projects, support marketing campaigns, and assist with ongoing website optimization and performance initiatives. 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Supports Web & Mobile Content: Maintains and updates website and mobile app content to ensure accuracy, accessibility, consistency, and alignment with brand standards. Performs quality assurance reviews and supports content governance across digital properties. 
  • Supports Digital Marketing Campaigns: Assists with the execution of digital marketing campaigns across service lines, physician practices, and organizational initiatives. Coordinates campaign assets and collaborates with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support successful campaign execution. 
  • Supports Website Optimization & Digital Visibility: Assists with website optimization initiatives, including search engine optimization (SEO), local search, Google Business Profiles, metadata updates, provider and location listings, and digital content enhancements, to improve online discoverability and user experience. 
  • Supports Digital Analytics & Reporting: Prepares recurring website, campaign, and engagement reports using digital analytics platforms. Assists in identifying trends and opportunities that support data-informed decision making. 
  • Supports Digital Experience & Quality Assurance: Assists with website usability, accessibility, content quality, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives to support an exceptional digital experience. 
  • Coordinates Digital Operations: Supports website requests, project coordination, documentation, stakeholder communication, and task tracking to help ensure digital initiatives are delivered efficiently and accurately. Maintains project workflows and monitors the status of digital initiatives. 
  • Continues Professional Development: Stays informed on emerging digital marketing trends, healthcare consumer behavior, AI technologies, and industry best practices while continuously developing professional knowledge and digital marketing skills. 
  • Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED 

  • Associate's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience, or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience in marketing, website management, healthcare, communications, or a related field. 
  • PREFERRED:

  • Internship or professional experience supporting websites, digital marketing, communications, or marketing campaigns. 
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS). 
  • Basic understanding of SEO, digital analytics, and website best practices. 
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Piwik Pro, or similar analytics platforms preferred. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and project management tools preferred. 
  • Familiarity with Digital Experience Platforms (Optimizely experience preferred). 
  • Healthcare or hospital marketing experience preferred but not required. 
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically, solve problems, and approach work with a user-focused mindset. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn new technologies and digital marketing best practices. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
