Responsibilities
- Manage raw material inventory to maintain optimal stock levels, ensure inventory accuracy, and establish effective safety stock policies.
- Forecast raw material requirements based on production plans and Bill of Materials (BOM), proactively identifying potential shortages and supply risks.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize obsolete and slow-moving inventory while optimizing inventory performance.
- Oversee raw material receiving, storage, issuance, and inventory transactions, ensuring compliance with FIFO and Lot Traceability requirements.
- Optimize warehouse operations, space utilization, and material flow to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and execute contingency plans to mitigate material supply disruptions, and coordinate with customers regarding supply constraints and recovery plans.
- Lead inventory audits and analyze inventory data to identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supervise, coach, and develop material management personnel while managing team performance and accountability.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Logistics, and other departments to support business objectives.
- Establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), while leading process improvement projects to enhance overall material management performance.
