Job description

Greenscapes Home & Garden, a Hanes/Leggett & Platt company, is looking for an Operations Manager to join our team in Calhoun, GA. This person will drive operational excellence by overseeing our production and warehouse departments, managing inventory, scheduling, and maintaining a safe workplace for all employees. Our ideal candidate has past operational management experience in a production facility.

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the production and shipping/receiving departments, forecasting, and overseeing Greenscapes supervisory staff.

Responsibilities/​Duties:
  • Manage shipping and production employees
  • Establish a shipping, receiving, and production schedule daily
  • Establish inbound/outbound logistics daily
  • Coordinate with Corporate purchasing team for material planning
  • Monitor and report material and packaging inventory for the operation
  • Direct supervision of employees
  • Additional duties may be required
Qualifications:
  • Proven successful warehouse and production management or supervisory experience
  • Adequate computer skills for ticket printing, inventory tracking, shipping reporting, and employee time reporting
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or comparable systems
  • Must be able to manage multiple locations
  • Must be able to travel between locations
  • Math skills for production calculations
  • Excellent communication skills
