Job description

Assists the Operations Manager with oversight of daily operations. This position provides leadership to drivers and support staff, assists in scheduling, training, and compliance, and serves as a point of contact for operational issues. Administers training programs for the operational personnel and coordinates the design, implementation, and maintenance of safety programs, policies, and procedures.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school; Two years related work experience; Corresponding years of experience may be considered as a substitute for the level of education desired.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Commercial Driverโ€™s License (CDL) Class B with Passenger Endorsement

CDL preferred or must be willing to obtain Class B with Passenger Endorsement. In-house CDL training and testing available.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Must receive a negative result from a DOT preโ€“employment drug screen;

Must pass a DOT pre-employment physical;

Occasional travel to other PDRTA offices is required;

Occasional local and overnight out-of-town travel is required;

Utilize company cell phone and laptop for communication outside of normal office hours
