Job description


PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

  • Provides oversight management to assigned Day Program.
  • Manages regulatory issues, supervises, trains, develops and coordinates schedules.


PRIMARY SCHEDULE:

  • Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm with a 30-minute lunch. Days and hours may vary and include evenings, Holidays, and weekends, as needed.


SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

  • Works under the supervision of the Director of Day Programs.


SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

  • Supervises staff.
  • Is responsible to supervise the assigned site supervisor.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Baccalaureate degree from an approved institution in education or minimum of 5 years' experience and at least 18 months in a supervisory capacity in the human services delivery field.
  • Understanding of Title 17 and Title 22 regulations.
  • Ability to effectively write Individual Service Plans (ISP).
  • Ability to supervise staff and coordinate daily scheduling.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with others.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Strong reading, writing, communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain and create data reports and documents using Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Current California driver's license, with an acceptable DMV printout and insurability.
  • Ability to pass a DOJ criminal background check.
  • Ability to pass CPR and First Aid course.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follows all procedures, policies, and guidelines of North Valley Services.
  • Provides staff training, support, and supervision.
  • Maintains vocational and client documentation for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Supervises staff, client, and program activities.
  • Approves staff and client time off requests and entries.
  • Performs regular client meetings and develops Individual Service Plans (ISP).
  • Performs staff performance evaluations.
  • Performs incident and accident reports in a timely manner.
  • Ensures quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Performs monthly safety inspections.
  • Ensures compliance with Illness Injury Prevention Program (IIPP).
  • Conducts Staff meetings.
  • Provides professional, positive communication and appearance while forming relationships with NVS Programs and outside agencies.
  • Additional duties as assigned including, filling in at other sites or departments as needed.
