Job description

Position: Manager of Property Operations

Program: Howe Street Property Management

Location: New Haven

Salary: $90,000-95,000/year

Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, 1st shift, Monday-Friday

Position Summary:

This position has primary authority and oversight responsibilities for the general maintenance, security, and housekeeping operations of all Connection properties, facilities, and equipment, adhering to all Connection standards of quality, appearance, and safety. Responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operation of facilities inclusive of, but not limited to, general office management, agency transportation services, reception area supervision and timely emergency response. Acts as the primary agency liaison with all outside supply, maintenance, cleaning vendors and contractors as well as with all public safety officials.  Works with real estate professionals and landlords to oversee and source new facilities as needed and coordinates property preparedness and move to the new location.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Property Management, Facilities Management, Public Administration, Project Management or related field preferred
  • 5 years of progressive responsible experience in property management, facilities management, office administration or project management
  • 2 years of supervisory
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required

Orientation:

If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
