Position Summary

The Manager of Supply Assurance is responsible for ensuring continuity, resilience, and reliability of supply across the endtoend supply chain. This role proactively identifies supply risks, develops mitigation strategies, and works crossfunctionally with Procurement, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics to protect customer service and business performance. The position plays a critical role in managing constraints, supplier performance, and disruption response.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Own and execute the Supply Assurance strategy to ensure uninterrupted supply in support of customer demand, production plans, and business priorities.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate supply risks related to suppliers, materials, capacity, quality, logistics, and geopolitical or macroeconomic factors.
  • Responsibilities include longer-term supply continuity agreements.
  • Develop and maintain escalation protocols, and contingency plans for critical materials and suppliers.
  • Lead crossfunctional response plans for supply disruptions, including shortages, supplier delays, capacity constraints, and transportation issues.
  • Partner closely with Supply Planning, Procurement, and Manufacturing to align demand, supply, and inventory strategies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and capacity health, escalating risks and driving corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive root cause analysis for chronic supply issues and lead implementation of sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support new product introductions, sourcing transitions, and supplier changes by assessing supply readiness and risk.
  • Establish and track supply assurance KPIs such as material availability, recovery lead time, supply risk exposure, and service impact.
  • Communicate supply risks, mitigation plans, and status updates clearly to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of proactive risk management and accountability.
Experience Required

Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree or professional certification (APICS CPIM/CSCP, PMP, or similar) preferred.
  • Experience managing global suppliers and complex, multitier supply networks.
  • 7 to 10 years' experience preferred.

The salary range for this role is CAD $118,250/year - $130,000/year.

The salary range listed is based on market data and internal benchmarks. Actual compensation may vary depending on a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
