Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Business Intelligence Manager leads the development and delivery of enterprise-wide reporting, analytics, and AI-enabled insights capabilities. This role is responsible for overseeing the Business Intelligence team, driving a unified reporting strategy, ensuring data integrity across dashboards and reports, and building scalable analytics solutions aligned with business priorities. The role also evaluates and implements emerging AI and machine learning technologies that enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and data accessibility. This is a people leader and strategic contributor role, partnering closely with operations, finance, technology, and executive stakeholders to advance a data-informed and AI-enabled culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise reports and dashboards that enable real-time operational decision-making.
  • Manages and mentors BI team members, including analysts and junior analysts, providing direction on priorities, quality, professional development, and adoption of emerging analytics technologies.
  • Establishes and enforces reporting standards, data definitions, and governance practices to ensure consistency, reliability, and responsible use of data and AI-driven insights across the organization.
  • Partners with cross-functional stakeholders; including operations, finance, and project management; to understand data needs and translate them into scalable analytics solutions.
  • Drives continuous improvement in data quality, report accuracy, and delivery efficiency.
  • Owns the BI roadmap for reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives, aligning deliverables with organizational goals and communicating progress to leadership.
  • Evaluates and implements BI tools, visualization best practices, and reporting frameworks to support a maturing analytics function.
  • Identifies opportunities to leverage machine learning, predictive analytics, and generative AI technologies to improve forecasting, operational performance, and business decision-making.
  • Ensures field data collection practices support accurate and useful reporting outcomes, collaborating with operations to close gaps and improve data readiness for analytics and AI applications.
Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related function; 2+ years in a team lead or management capacity.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and report/dashboard development.
  • Experience leveraging AI, machine learning, generative AI, or advanced analytics tools to automate reporting, enhance decision-making, and improve business processes.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and enterprise data sources.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in or with construction, field operations, or project-based industries a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, lead a team, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Compensation: $150,000 to $175,000 annually
