Foundation Health Partner's Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician to join our team.

The Opportunity:

Foundation Health Partners OB/GYN is a hospital based clinic located inside Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, the only community hospital serving Interior Alaska. The clinic provides a full range of outpatient obstetric and gynecologic services including prenatal care, routine gynecologic care, contraception counseling, menopause management, and evaluation of common women's health conditions. Physicians care for patients from Fairbanks and many surrounding rural communities, offering a broad clinical practice with meaningful continuity of care. As part of the OB program, a dedicated group of OB hospitalists provides 24/7 in house coverage at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, serving as an additional layer of support for labor and delivery and urgent situations.

The OB community in Fairbanks is highly collaborative. Our physicians work closely with OB partners across the community, including private practice groups and the Alaska Native health system, and meet regularly to coordinate care and strengthen obstetric services throughout the region. Providers in this role practice in a supportive environment with strong professional relationships across the community and a shared commitment to improving maternal care for patients across Interior Alaska.

  • Compensation: Base salary of $361,000 + wRVU production bonuses. Average total compensation between $407k - $480k. $65k Sign-On bonus. 
  • Schedule: M-F outaptient clinic as well as shared call coverage. 280 hours approved time off and 80hrs for CME. 
  • Team: 2 OB/GYN Clinic Physicians, RNs and MAs

ResponsibilitiesQualifications

Graduate of an approved school of medicine with licensure in state where he/she practices.

Board Eligible/Board Certified by appropriate certifying board. Current DEA number.

Must apply for and maintain Medical Staff membership and clinical privileges at appropriate facilities if required by Physician's employment agreement. Requires commitment to healthcare and concern for people in distress, critical listening skills and ability to communicate clearly, desire to work with all types of people and work as a team member and excellent interpersonal skills. Able to meet desired business outcomes while maintaining quality of care. Must be willing to update skills constantly.
