Job Responsibilities:
Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
Document discrepancies, damages, or shortages and report them to the appropriate department.
Accurately label and store received items in designated locations.
Perform regular cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventory audits.
Maintain accurate inventory records using company software and systems.
Organize and maintain the receiving and inventory storage areas to ensure cleanliness and efficiency.
Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging and labeling, as needed.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (certification preferred).
Collaborate with production, purchasing, and quality control departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in a receiving, inventory, or warehouse environment.
Proficiency in using inventory management software and systems.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
