Primary Role and Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand
• Develop and execute the company's overall marketing and communications strategy.
• Strengthen and maintain a consistent Mister "P" brand, voice and visual identity.
• Marketing campaigns promoting business growth, customer relationships, recruiting & engagement.
• Manage marketing priorities, budgets, outside agencies and vendors.
• Partner with executive leadership on company positioning, messaging and strategic initiatives.
Digital, Content & Advertising
• Lead the company's website, social media, digital advertising and content strategy.
• Develop compelling written, visual and video content that brings the Mister "P" story to life.
• Plan/manage advertising campaigns across appropriate digital, social, video and traditional channels.
• Use analytics to evaluate results and continuously improve marketing investments.
Public & Internal Communications
• Manage public relations, media inquiries, press releases and executive messaging.
• Lead communications during significant operational or reputational events.
• Develop company-wide communications that keep employees informed, connected and engaged.
• Support leadership with announcements, presentations, talking points and other key communications.
Recruiting & Employer Brand
• Partner with recruiting and operations to market driving and other career opportunities.
• Develop campaigns and content showcasing Mister "P" employees, culture, equipment, facilities and career opportunities.
• Track recruiting marketing effectiveness and adjust efforts based on results.
Business Partnership
• Build strong relationships across operations, safety, maintenance, recruiting, IT and other areas of the business.
• Learn the transportation business and translate complex operational topics into clear, compelling messages.
• Identify stories and marketing opportunities throughout Mister "P" and its related businesses.
Qualifications
• Significant experience in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategy and execute the work required to bring it to life.
• Experience with digital marketing, social media, advertising, websites and content development.
• Experience working with media and managing external communications.
• Strong project-management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working with executives, frontline employees, customers, vendors and external partners.
• Experience managing agencies, vendors and creative production is preferred.
• Transportation, logistics or other operational-industry experience is a plus.
