Hours:

Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm

Position Summary

This position is accountable for the operation, personnel management, and the service to customers within a specified geographic region.

Essential Functions

  • Develop operating plans for the assigned regional operation
  • Serve as point of contact for drivers regarding issues/questions pertaining to organizational policies, payroll, benefits, etc.
  • Set up schedules for drivers
  • Recruit drivers/owner operators
  • Engage with customers to drive growth and enhance relationships
  • Resolve customer issues
  • Ensure that the safety values of the organization are followed
  • Assist, support and direct managers
  • Manage, coach, discipline, and evaluate staff

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in business or equivalent work experience
  • Background in transportation
  • Good people skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
