About the Opportunity
LMS Investment Management is seeking an experienced Community Manager to lead operations at Elevate 758, a vibrant apartment community in Mobile, Alabama.
This leadership role is responsible for the overall success of the community, including financial performance, resident satisfaction, team development, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a motivated multifamily professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, building strong teams, and creating a welcoming community residents are proud to call home.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the community.
  • Recruit, coach, develop, and inspire on-site team members.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and customer-focused culture.
  • Deliver exceptional resident experiences by resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Drive leasing performance, occupancy, renewals, and resident retention.
  • Develop and execute marketing and outreach initiatives to maximize occupancy.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure exceptional curb appeal and community standards.
  • Oversee service requests, make-ready schedules, and capital improvement projects.
  • Prepare and manage annual operating budgets while controlling expenses and maximizing NOI.
  • Review financial reports and identify opportunities to improve operational performance.
  • Participate in ownership meetings, financial reviews, and property visits as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Partner closely with Regional Leadership and corporate support teams, including HR, Accounting, Marketing, and IT.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience as a Community Manager with a multifamily property management company required.
  • Experience with conventional multifamily communities preferred.
  • Yardi Voyager experience preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and operating expenses.
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and property management best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
  • Walk the property daily, including climbing stairs.
  • Perform routine property inspections.
  • Show apartment homes and community amenities.
  • Deliver resident communications and interact with residents throughout the community.
