This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency. The Sr. Manager, Production Management (Management Path) for our Filling department is primarily responsible for leading teams to achieve departmental success through strategic planning, policy development, and resource allocation. As the leader of a 24/7 Aseptic Filling organization, you will drive operational excellence by managing production activities, ensuring quality and efficiency, and fostering a safe work environment. Strong leadership, team development, and cross-functional collaboration & communication skills are essential.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Develop frontline leaders and production teams to build a culture of accountability, engagement, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
  • Champion aseptic behavior, contamination control, and inspection readiness, ensuring compliance with cGMP requirements and quality standards
  • Partner closely with Quality, Engineering, Technical Services, Validation, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to support new product introductions, process improvements, and operational reliability
  • Provide visible leadership during critical production events, investigations, startups, shutdowns, and operational escalations
  • Oversee multiple teams, contributing to policy and procedure development
  • Make decisions affecting team operations and performance, approve projects, and allocate resources
  • Lead quality investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide leadership in managing production activities
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage production line maintenance to minimize disruptions
  • Foster a culture of excellence by leading performance management and talent development
  • Ensure positive associate relations and enhance engagement
  • Drive a strong safety culture and recognize achievements
  • Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 7 Years of Relevant Experience
  • 5 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
  • Location: Onsite-Fort Worth - ASPEX
  • Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday
