$25.70 - $37.00 /hour
Shift Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Audio Visual Supervisor
 

EMPLOYMENT BEGINS: As soon as possible 

 
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
  • Responsible for installation, configuration, and upkeep of audio and video streaming equipment and associated peripherals.                          
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Texas driver's license
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
  • Proficiency in audio equipment, audio formats, and adherence to industry standards for audio equipment interface practices
  • Proficiency in video equipment, video formats, and adherence to industry standards for video equipment interface practices
  • Expertise in video Streaming systems
  • Familiarity with wireless casting systems
  • Knowledge of digital signage technology
  • Understanding of Bulletin Board announcement systems
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret schematics and signal flow diagrams
  • Exceptional public relations and interpersonal skills
EXPERIENCE:
  • Have demonstrated successful experience in installing various audio and video equipment while maintaining or exceeding industry standards
  • Have demonstrated successful experience in diagnosing audio and video technical issues and making appropriate repairs
  • Have demonstrated successful experience troubleshooting computer networks
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  • Responsible for installation/maintenance of streaming video systems
  • Responsible for installation/maintenance of digital signage systems
  • Responsible for installation/maintenance of Bulletin Board systems
  • Configuration and management of various streaming devices, including but not limited to Airservers, Chromecast, Rokus, and Apple TVs, Mirrorcast
  • Troubleshooting the school district's PEG (Public, Educational, Governmental) Channel to ensure uninterrupted broadcasting
  • Monitor and ensure the successful virtual streaming of morning announcements, including audio and video components, to facilitate timely and effective communication with students and staff
  • Troubleshoot virtual reality equipment to help integrate multimedia content into the curriculum, enhancing the educational experience
  • Provide technical support and training to teachers and staff on the use of audio and video equipment
  • Troubleshooting live streaming for school sports events
  • Stay current with emerging audio and video streaming technologies and make recommendations for system enhancements
  • Participate in emergency response and disaster recovery planning for audio and video systems
  • Troubleshooting television issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned
