KXAN seeks to hire a streaming content producerto produce and manage content for digital platforms, including a connected television app, YouTube channel and website live streams. This is a technical and creative role working closely with the digital team, newsroom leaders, reporters and engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Content creation:Work collaboratively with the team of video journalists and reporters to create content that's optimized for multiple platforms, including broadcast television, websites and social media
- Content curation:Schedule connected television app programming by crafting blocks of engaging content. Manage YouTube strategy to increase audience size and loyalty.
- Organization:Organize source materials into multimedia pieces and aggregated video streams.
- Live Stream Production: Assist with live streams of breaking news, daily events and pre-planned programming.
- Guest interview management:Book and produce conversations with invited guests, both virtual and in-person.
Skills and experience:
- Experience producing streaming and social video content
