We are seeking a talented Senior Video Editor to join our Creative team at Fossil Group. In this role, you will craft compelling commercial campaigns, product videos, brand films, social content, and performance marketing assets that bring our products and stories to life across every customer touchpoint. An ideal candidate will have exceptional storytelling instincts, a strong editorial eye, and the ability to transform creative concepts into polished, engaging visual stories from concept through final delivery.
This is a hybrid position, requiring you to work onsite Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
What you will do in this role
  • Edit commercial campaigns, product videos, brand films, social content, and performance marketing assets across digital, retail, e-commerce, and paid media channels.
  • Shape compelling stories through pacing, rhythm, composition, music selection, sound design, and editorial craft.
  • Create multiple cutdowns, aspect ratios, and platform-specific versions optimized for social, digital, retail, e-commerce, and performance marketing.
  • Create and integrate motion graphics, supers, kinetic typography, logo animations, MOGRTs, and graphic overlays that enhance storytelling.
  • Perform color correction and color grading to achieve premium, brand-consistent visuals.
  • Mix and enhance dialogue, music, voiceover, and sound effects to create polished final edits.
  • Collaborate with creative directors, designers, producers, marketers, and production partners throughout concept development, production, and post-production.
  • Organize and maintain project files, media assets, templates, and editing workflows across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Stay current on editing techniques, storytelling trends, post-production best practices, and emerging creative technologies.
  • Explore emerging AI tools and workflows that improve efficiency and expand creative possibilities.

Who You Are (Requirements)
  • 5+ years of professional video editing experience in an agency, production company, post-production studio, or in-house creative team.
  • Exceptional storytelling instincts and a strong editorial eye for pacing, rhythm, composition, music, and emotion.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
  • Experience creating motion graphics, supers, kinetic typography, logo animations, MOGRTs, and graphic packages.
  • Strong color correction and color grading skills using DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Adobe After Effects.
  • Experience with professional audio editing, mixing, and sound design.
  • Experience editing commercial, lifestyle, fashion, retail, or consumer product content.
  • Experience creating deliverables optimized for broadcast, digital, social, paid media, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A portfolio or demo reel showcasing commercial, brand, product, or social editing work.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Agency or post-production studio experience.
  • Experience creating content for fashion, lifestyle, luxury, retail, or consumer brands.
  • Familiarity with professional cinema cameras, lighting, and video production workflows.
  • Experience operating cameras in studio and on location.
  • Experience creating or customizing Motion Graphics Templates (MOGRTs) using After Effects and template libraries such as Motion Array, Artlist, or similar platforms.
  • Experience editing performance marketing and paid social creative.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and workflows, including Veo, Kling, Sora, SeeDance, Nano Banana, Flora, and other emerging generative video technologies.
  • Knowledge of current social media platforms, creative trends, and evolving content formats.
