Position Details

What Will You Do:

As a Learning Consultant, you will consult with our business partners to design and develop large scale training programs that using the most effective and appropriate instructional methods/materials to reinforce the participants' learning and enhance knowledge retention.
You will use your energetic attitude and engaging public speaking skills to present information using a variety of instructional techniques and formats. You will stay current on training and development trends, activities, and techniques to ensure that you and the Learning & Development Team stay current with the industry.

*Please note, salary range is not inclusive of total compensation. The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are encouraged to apply.

Who you are:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma and a degree/certificate (or willingness to obtain) in Adult Education
  • 5 years' experience in consulting and managing stakeholders
  • 5 years' experience in design/development of large-scale training programs using different learning methods
  • Experience in training delivery of in person and virtual training sessions
  • Insurance industry experience is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience using Articulate Storyline and Camtasia is preferred
  • Strong analytical skill
  • English and French language proficiency is an asset

This is a hybrid position. Travel required to offsite locations occasionally.
