About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and capable HR Generalist to join our team. Reporting to the local HR Business Partner, this position will be based at our Lafayette, IN site.This exciting and challenging role will require you to use your HR knowledge and experience to shape our people strategy, implement HR processes and initiatives, manage employee relations, and provide support to managers on all HR matters, including employee relations, employee engagement, performance management, recruitment and selection, onboarding, and facilitating learning and development.

Key responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution: Manage employee relations by providing hands-on HR support to managers, addressing HR issues, conducting objective investigations regarding disciplinary issues, and collaborating with plant leadership to strengthen employee engagement.
  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Facilitate recruitment process, including sourcing, hiring, conducting new hire orientations, and managing the onboarding process to ensure the effective integration of new employees.
  • Termination and Transition Processes: Manage the termination process, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements, and providing support to departing employees to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Perform data entry tasks, maintain accurate employee records, and generate and analyze HR metrics and reports such as KPIs, Monthly Local Report, and Headcounts to support data-driven decision making.
  • Policy Interpretation and Compliance: Interpret and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, local legislation, and company policies, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
  • Manage & Support ERGs: Manage and participate in Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Event Planning: Plan and coordinate HR-related events to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Training and Development: Deliver and facilitate training activities related to HR processes, supporting employee development and ensuring adherence to HR policies and procedures.

Required and Preferred Education/Certification

Bachelor's/Masters Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent (preferred)

Required and Preferred Work Experience

4+ years of professional experience in HR (required)
3+ years of recruiting experience (required)
Total RewardsThe annual pay range estimated for this position is $63,344.80 - $95,017.20 and is bonus eligible.

Please note that while this range reflects the full spectrum of compensation available for this role, individual compensation will be determined based on several factors including your experience, skills, and alignment with the role's responsibilities. During the interview process there will be an opportunity to discuss how your background fits into the pay range.
