Job description

Employee Type: Full Time

Job Category: Manager, Client Relations, Sales

Build Relationships. Grow Business. Make an Impact.

Are you a driven, people-focused sales professional who enjoys building relationships and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships?

Enviroscapes is looking for a Business Development Manager to help us grow our commercial landscaping and snow removal business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on meeting new people, solving problems, and creating solutions that make a real difference for customers.

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be more than a salesperson. You’ll become a trusted partner to our customers — learning their business, understanding their needs, identifying opportunities, and connecting them with solutions that help their properties look and perform their best.

You’ll work alongside an experienced, collaborative team while having the independence and ownership to build your territory, develop relationships, and drive results.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Build relationships and grow your network by identifying and connecting with prospective commercial clients.
  • Create new business opportunities for our landscaping and snow removal services through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry connections.
  • Develop trusted relationships with key decision-makers and become a valued resource for their property and facility needs.
  • Listen and understand what matters most to each customer, then develop solutions that address their goals, challenges, and concerns.
  • Partner with our team to create compelling proposals and customized service solutions.
  • Lead the sales process from initial conversation through proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Turn challenges into opportunities by professionally addressing objections and finding solutions that create positive outcomes.
  • Think beyond the initial sale by anticipating customer needs and recommending opportunities to improve their current or future properties.
  • Stay connected to the industry by attending networking events, industry functions, and community activities.
  • Be a trusted advisor by educating customers on landscaping trends, best practices, and innovative service solutions.
  • Keep opportunities moving forward through consistent communication, follow-up, and organization.
  • Work as part of a team that takes pride in delivering exceptional service and creating lasting customer partnerships.
What Makes You a Great Fit

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Driven and motivated to achieve goals and build a successful book of business.
  • A natural relationship builder who enjoys meeting people and creating genuine connections.
  • Confident and persuasive without being pushy — you know how to listen, ask great questions, and communicate value.
  • Results-oriented and comfortable owning your goals and managing your time independently.
  • A strong communicator with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple prospects, proposals, and customer relationships.
  • A problem solver who looks for solutions rather than obstacles.
  • Positive and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively with customers and teammates.
  • Professional and personable, with an outgoing personality and the confidence to build relationships at all levels.
  • Eager to learn and grow, with an interest in the landscaping, snow removal, and commercial property services industries.
What You’ll Bring
  • 3–5 years of business-to-business sales or business development experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to develop new business and successfully close sales.
  • Strong customer relationship and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record that meets fleet insurance requirements.
  • Ability to pass required drug and alcohol testing.

Experience in commercial landscaping, snow removal, construction, facilities services, or a related industry is a plus — but we’re most interested in your ability to build relationships, create opportunities, and deliver results.

What You Can Expect

This is a relationship-driven position with plenty of variety. You’ll spend time meeting with customers, visiting properties, networking in the community, working alongside our team, and developing new opportunities.

You should expect frequent local travel and flexibility to occasionally work outside of traditional business hours to meet customer needs or attend industry and networking events. The role may include working from customer locations, our offices, or remotely from home as needed.

Why Enviroscapes?

At Enviroscapes, we believe great results start with great people.

We’re looking for someone who wants to build a career, not just take a job — someone who takes pride in what they do, enjoys being part of a team, and wants the opportunity to make an impact.

If you’re energized by meeting people, winning new business, solving problems, and building relationships that last, we’d love to hear from you.

Bring your ambition. Bring your ideas. Bring your ability to build relationships. Let’s grow together.
