REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Development Specialist in Winston Salem

The Talent Development Specialist plays a key role in executing and scaling talent development initiatives by combining program coordination, learning analytics, and stakeholder support. This position is responsible for coordinating learning programs, facilitating development activities, assessing training effectiveness, and analyzing learning and performance data to identify trends, measure impact, and support continuous improvement efforts. The role partners closely with Talent Development leaders to execute strategic learning initiatives, support learning technologies, manage projects, and provide data-driven insights that strengthen workforce capability and business outcomes. The ideal candidate has experience in analytics, facilitation, program coordination, assessment, learning technology, and project management, along with a passion for improving learning effectiveness through measurable results

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collect and analyse data through surveys, assessments, performance metrics, and other evaluation tools to measure training impact.
  • Track and report the effectiveness of learning programs on employee productivity, performance, and job satisfaction, driving continuous improvement.
  • Analyse assessment data and feedback to continuously enhance training effectiveness and learning outcomes.
  • Coordinate and deliver learning strategies and training programs aligned with organizational needs, leveraging blended learning approaches and tracking completion.
  • Support the identification of skill gaps through learning needs assessments and feedback collection from employees, managers, and HR teams.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to align learning initiatives with organizational goals and workforce development strategies.
  • Support the integration of training programs into employee career paths, leadership development initiatives, and succession planning efforts.
  • Drive the continuous evolution of learning strategies by leveraging innovative learning solutions, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to support organizational growth and future talent needs.

What are we looking for?

  • 1 + years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Leadership Development, or a related HR field, including facilitating training programs for professional and leadership audiences and partnering with leaders/internal clients in a consultative capacity.
  • Experience managing learning analytics, including collecting, organizing, and analysing data on learning needs, engagement, training effectiveness, and performance improvement.
  • Ability to design and support structured learning programs aligned with organizational objectives, adapting learning solutions to evolving business and workforce needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create and deliver training materials, guides, and reports, while building engagement and buy-in with employees and senior stakeholders.

 

Beneficial

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, Psychology, or a related field; knowledge of modern learning trends and technologies (e.g., gamification, mobile learning) and ability to work independently under general supervision following established guidelines
  • Experience in large, matrixed organizations preferably consumer packed goods or manufacturing.
