Job description

The Maintenance Superintendent is a critical leadership role responsible for the efficient and effective operation of a facility's maintenance department. We are looking for someone who fosters a safe and productive work environment, promotes continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with all relevant regulations. 

In This Role, You Will:

  • Ensure quality housekeeping, maintenance, and repair practices are followed for the property.
  • Oversee daily operations, including all phases of maintenance for common areas (buildings, grounds), and manage external contractors to ensure compliance with company standards and maintenance agreements.
  • Identify maintenance needs for common areas, solicit and review contractor bids.
  • Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and discipline maintenance staff.
  • Maintain roadways, parking areas, curbs, sidewalks, doors, furniture, restrooms, landscaping, floors, lighting, HVAC, stormwater management systems, and roof systems.
