Job description

Full-Time Third Party Registered Nurse/Donor Nurse

IVI RMA North America is looking for a Full-Time Third Party Registered Nurse/Donor Nurse for our Basking Ridge, NJ location. This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm.

Job Purpose

The Third-Party Nurse individual will function as a dynamic member of the patient care team, providing treatment, education, and guidance to fertility patients seeking third party services throughout their fertility journey. This position works collaboratively with Providers, Counselors, REI Nurses and Third-Party support staff to provide FDA compliant, timely, and professional services. The Registered Nurse will serve as treatment coordinator and strive to provide every individual an optimal patient experience.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities

Assist with coordination of care, management, and treatment of fertility patients.

Implement provider directives through management of identified diagnostic and clinical treatment plans.

Provide care for assigned patients by applying appropriate RMA workflows, policies and clinical practice guidelines.

Review medical records and lab results. Ensure accurate data is entered into the EMR.

Communicate test results and patient instructions.

Provide patient education throughout all aspects of the treatment journey. Set appropriate expectations, educate patient/couple on testing, treatment options and RMA process.

Demonstrate skills and judgment necessary to implement the plan of care. Perform nursing interventions and procedures as necessary to promote the care and safety of the patient; Establish a compassionate environment for providing emotional and psychological support to patients; comfort patients by anticipating their anxieties, answering questions and addressing concerns.

Ensure FDA requirements are complete, accurate, uploaded to patients chart correctly and readily available for review.

Collaborate with REI nurses to assist with third party patients.

Serve as a liaison between provider, patient, interdisciplinary team members and external third-party agencies to coordinate services.

Resolve patient problems and concerns by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies; Optimize the patient experience.

Participate in the education and training of nurses; mentor peers and promote a collaborative and productive environment both intra-departmentally and inter departmentally

Assist provider with in-office procedures, as needed

Academic Training

Active RN license without limitations -required

BSN Degree-highly preferred

BCLS and/or ACLS and/or IV certification -preferred

Position Requirements/Experience:

Flexibility to work weekdays with weekends and rotational holidays -required

2-3 years' experience as an RN –highly preferred

Prior experience in women's healthcare –preferred

Technical Skills:

Microsoft Office proficiency

Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail

Solid work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Superior time-management, customer service, and critical thinking skills

Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, stress and multiple simultaneous work demands in an effective and professional manner
