Job description

We're seeking an experienced Health Informatics Specialist III to support enterprise level clinical and operational initiatives across a major pediatric healthcare system. This role partners with clinical, business, and DTS teams to design, implement, optimize, and evaluate clinical and non clinical information systems.
A major focus is virtual care, including telehealth, remote patient monitoring, workflow redesign, and capability transfer to internal teams.

• Communicate updates to stakeholders and present findings
• Support downtime workflows and EHR reconciliation
• Standardize processes using evidence based and regulatory aligned methods
• Perform gap analyses, risk/benefit assessments, and testing
• Document current/future state workflows
• Serve as consultant for complex process improvement initiatives
• Ensure integration across Epic modules and track project progress
• Support data quality, decision support tools, and auditing processes
• Participate in Epic vendor visits
• Support nursing research, training materials, and ongoing system education
• Engage in scholarly activities (publications, presentations, posters)
Education
• Bachelor's Degree required
