Manager, Intelligent Automation - WCIB Operations Digital Innovation & Analytics

As the Manager, Intelligent Automation within WCIB Operations Digital Innovation & Analytics, you'll lead a growing team responsible for transforming how work gets done across Wholesale and Commercial Banking Operations. This is a unique opportunity to build and scale AI-enabled solutions that improve operational efficiency, strengthen controls, enhance employee experiences, and deliver better outcomes for our clients.

In this highly visible leadership role, you'll partner with senior business leaders, technology teams, Enterprise AI stakeholders, risk partners, and product organizations to identify, prioritize, and implement innovative solutions leveraging Generative AI, Agentic AI, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), automation, and advanced analytics.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and evolve the WCIB Operations intelligent automation strategy and delivery portfolio.

  • Build, coach, and develop a team focused on AI, GenAI, document intelligence, automation, and analytics solutions.

  • Partner across Operations, Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Enterprise AI teams to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.

  • Drive prioritization of initiatives based on business value, risk mitigation, feasibility, and adoption readiness.

  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps, operating models, and measurable outcomes.

  • Monitor and communicate portfolio performance, adoption metrics, value realization, and key risks to senior leadership.

  • Identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics, predictive modeling, automation, and AI to solve complex business challenges.

  • Influence organizational change and drive adoption of emerging technologies across WCIB Operations

Location & Schedule

  • 📍 Milwaukee, WI | St. Paul, MN | Cincinnati, OH | Charlotte, NC | Earth City, MO

  • 🏢 Hybrid schedule with 3+ days onsite per week

  • 🕗 Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM CST

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree in data and technology management, or equivalent work experience

  • Ten or more years of experience in data management and business intelligence in the financial services industry


Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience building and scaling intelligent automation, AI, GenAI, machine learning, workflow automation, or intelligent document processing capabilities.

  • Strong understanding of advanced analytics, predictive modeling, data management, and business intelligence methodologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transformation initiatives and drive measurable business outcomes.

  • Experience partnering across business, product, technology, risk, compliance, and governance functions.

  • Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and influence skills.

  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution through roadmaps, governance models, and adoption plans.

  • Practical knowledge of Agentic AI, Generative AI, workflow automation, systems integration, and emerging technologies.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Financial services, banking, or operations transformation experience preferred

Location Expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $133,365.00 - $156,900.00
