WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Sr. Manager, Insurance Technology Platforms leads the delivery, support, and modernization of insurance technology solutions supporting contract administration, claims, underwriting, reporting, and related data processes. This role provides technical leadership, oversees delivery priorities and platform operations, and partners with business and technology stakeholders to ensure reliable, compliant, and scalable solutions.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT 1. Technology Delivery & Platform Oversight
  • Lead delivery, support, and continuous improvement of insurance technology platforms and related data solutions.
  • Provide technical oversight for system enhancements, integrations, reporting, performance optimization, and production support.
  • Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
2. Strategy, Roadmap & Prioritization
  • Define and manage platform roadmaps, priorities, and delivery plans in partnership with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Balance enhancements, production support, risk, and operational needs to maximize business value.
  • Lead, coach, and develop technical team members while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide direction, workload management, performance feedback, and professional development support.
4. Stakeholder Partnership & Delivery Management
  • Serve as the primary technology partner for insurance business teams, translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Oversee delivery execution, issue resolution, testing support, dependencies, and implementation readiness.
  • Ensure solutions, processes, and documentation align with enterprise standards, compliance requirements, and data privacy expectations.
  • Support risk management, root cause analysis, audits, and operational improvements.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
  • 8+ years of experience in technology delivery, business systems, application development, data platforms, or related roles within a regulated industry.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams and delivery initiatives.
  • Experience supporting SDLC activities, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Experience with SQL/PL-SQL, database-driven applications, reporting, integrations, and data-focused solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, Agile, ITIL, Oracle, or equivalent) are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of insurance, financial services, or data-driven business platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, databases, data flows, technical solution design, and operational support.
  • Experience with Agile delivery, release management, and application support practices.
