At Allstate, great things happen when our people work together to protect families and their belongings from life's uncertainties. And for more than 90 years, our innovative drive has kept us a step ahead of our customers' evolving needs. From advocating for seat belts, air bags and graduated driving laws, to being an industry leader in pricing sophistication, telematics, and, more recently, device and identity protection.

Job Description

Core Engineering & Platforms (CEP) provides foundational (Core) capabilities, applying a disciplined Engineering first mindset, and advancing scalable, reusable Platforms across the ecosystem This role ensures critical priorities do not operate in silos, acting as the connective tissue, bringing cohesion across CEP by connecting work, signals, and outcomes across a wide set of product domains without introducing additional friction.
Streamlining how CEP engages customers across products and services while cultivating strategic vendor partnerships that span multiple technology domains.
The role elevates how CEP communicates its strategy and impact-curating clear, enterprise-relevant narratives for topics such as OKR progress, Operational Risk and Return Committee, technology execution review and board-level discussions that reflect plan of intent, progress to outcomes, and value delivered.

Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities Lead coordinated planning and execution at scale - Lead Planning & Integration across CEP in environments with a high number of distributed product teams, partnering with digital products teams to ensure backlogs are sequenced when needed and consumable across domains (e.g., infrastructure as code transformation or large-scale efforts like large vendor exit requiring coordinated movement across infrastructure, platforms, and product teams). Accelerating delivery on critical outcomes.
  • Strengthen product partnership and customer signal curation - Partner with Digital Product Managers to support how the voice of the customer is captured, shaped, and reflected in CEP priorities-particularly in the absence of a business architect construct. • Enterprise Strategic Planning & Execution: Demonstrated ability to develop and operationalize enterprise technology strategies, translating complex business objectives into actionable plans that drive measurable organizational outcomes.
  • Executive Influence & Organizational Leadership: Proven success in building alignment and influencing senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders in complex environments, driving decisions and results without direct authority.

  • Strengthens confidence that critical outcomes are being actively steered.

As CEP continues to scale across distributed product domains, this role brings cohesion to how we work across product teams, sequence backlogs that impact on our customers, and reduce duplication across efforts. It also elevates how we capture customer needs and consistently represent CEP strategy and impact across conversations such as OKR Reviews, ORCC, and board-level discussions.
