Job Summary
The Manager in Training (MIT) is a development role designed to prepare high-potential candidates for a future Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager position. This role provides hands-on experience in all aspects of restaurant operations, including team leadership, customer service, food quality, and financial performance. The MIT will work closely with leadership to build the skills needed to successfully run a restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and perform all Team Member and Shift Manager duties.
  • Provide exceptional guest service and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Assist in supervising team members during shifts, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Support food preparation and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Participate in opening and closing procedures, including cash handling.
  • Assist with scheduling, labor control, and shift coverage.
