About the job
As a Process Excellence Program Manager within the Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) Strategy and Operations team, you will identify, develop and lead continuous improvement projects focused on the efficiency, speed and quality of end-to-end processes. You will approach each opportunity with an AI first mindset, leveraging a deep understanding of Google AI capabilities to drive automation and agentification wherever possible.
You will build a deep understanding of REWS business needs, and the user journeys of REWSters to develop solutions that provide a positive stakeholder experience; are scalable across the organization; reduce manual workload; and adhere fully to control and compliance policies and requirements.
In this role, you will require a courageous and disruptive mindset. You will be looked upon to challenge the status quo, provide insight to AI possibilities, drive stakeholder alignment around a robust AI first goal and strategy, and manage an in-direct team of Googler stakeholders and supplier partners to deliver on that strategy.
Your initial project focus will be on end-to-end contracting. Beyond that improvement projects may touch on any area of governance, risk management, controls and reporting across real estate projects, transactions and workplace operations.
The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google's culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our Googley workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. We also manage the industry-leading services that help make Google a great place to work -- from how we design healthy and collaborative workspaces, create energizing food experiences, provide convenient transportation and fitness options, to delivering environments where Google and our employees can thrive.

  • Provide subject matter expertise in internal controls and corporate procurement lifecycles to eliminate bottlenecks in contracting and sourcing.
  • Create scalable global process frameworks based on REWSter user journeys to ensure technical optimizations elevate the internal stakeholder experience.
  • Navigate complex landscapes (Legal, Finance, Construction) to build consensus for high-impact disruptions and manage vendor/partner service roadmaps.
