The Director of Forecasting is responsible for overseeing and managing forecasting processes to predict visitor attendance, revenue, expenses, and other key business metrics. This onsite role may be based in Orlando, Tampa, or Miami and plays a crucial part in informing strategic decisions, optimizing operations, and ensuring the company's financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Forecasting:
    • Develop and implement forecasting models to predict visitor attendance, ticket sales, and revenue.
    • Analyze historical data, market trends, and external factors to refine and improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Forecast park expenses, including operational costs, marketing budgets, and capital expenditures.
    • Monitor financial performance against forecasts and identify variances to inform budget adjustments.
  • Operational Planning:
    • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and sales teams to align forecasts with business strategies.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize staffing levels, inventory, and resource allocation based on forecasted demand.
  • Reporting and Presentation:
    • Prepare and present regular forecast updates to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Communicate key insights, trends, and risks to support decision-making processes.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of forecast analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
