This Role is Tailor-Made for You Because:
As Manager, Digital & UX Design, you will support the design and evolution of digital experiences across the Tory Burch ecommerce ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Art Director, you will partner with Creative, Site, Merchandising, Marketing, and Development teams to bring business and creative initiatives to life through elevated digital and UX design.
This role combines digital design and UX/UI design, with a focus on creating high-quality visual mockups, site designs, wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes. You will translate established business needs and creative briefs into thoughtful, intuitive experiences that balance customer needs, brand vision, and business goals.
You will support site enhancements, monthly refreshes, and new digital experiences while helping maintain and evolve the site's Interaction Design System (IDS). This position requires a strong understanding of visual design and UX, with the ability to move seamlessly from concept through detailed design and prototyping.
A Day in the Life:
  • Design digital and UX experiences across site enhancements, ecommerce initiatives, and new seasonal digital experiences.
  • Create high-quality visual mockups, layouts, wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes.
  • Translate business requirements and creative briefs into intuitive, engaging digital experiences.
  • Design UX/UI designs that balance customer needs, brand standards, and business goals.
  • Support the maintenance and evolution of the site's Interaction Design System (IDS).
  • Design site enhancements and new digital experiences from concept through final design.
  • Partner with Creative, Site, Merchandising, Marketing, Product, and Development teams throughout the design process.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine designs and ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
  • Present design concepts, mockups, prototypes, and recommendations to cross-functional partners and leadership.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to UX designers and external design resources.
  • Support UX design resources and external partners as needed.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across digital and UX deliverables.
  • Maintain best practices and competitive research that aligns with creative team and brand goals
  • Stay current on emerging digital design, UX/UI, ecommerce, and interaction design trends.

To Land This Role:
Education & Prior Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in digital design, UX/UI, product design, or ecommerce design.
  • Proven experience designing digital experiences for ecommerce, retail, fashion, or consumer-facing brands.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both visual digital design and UX/UI design.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma and experience with prototyping and design systems.
  • Strong understanding of user flows, wireframing, interaction design, responsive design, and digital production.
  • Experience mentoring or managing designers, freelancers, or contract resources.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Creative, Marketing, Merchandising, Product, Site, and Development teams.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of design execution.
  • Ability to balance customer needs, brand vision, technical requirements, and business objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, UX, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field preferred.
