Pay: $89,960 - $143,915 /annually. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a remote or a hybrid option.
Summary:
The Experience Design Manager is responsible for improving the patient and family experience at UCHealth using human-centered design and mixed-methods research. This role uses staff and patient feedback and data to identify key opportunities, working directly with care teams and leaders to design and implement practical improvements. The manager supports teams in using insights to drive change, ensuring efforts are aligned with organizational priorities and the needs of UCHealth.
Responsibilities:
The Experience Design Manager is a senior design and innovation leader responsible for improving the patient and family experience at UCHealth through human-centered design, project management, and cross-functional collaboration. This role connects system-level initiatives with local projects to tell a cohesive story, working directly with care teams and leaders to drive meaningful change aligned with organizational priorities across the UCHealth system.
• Lead projects end-to-end, managing scope, timelines, and stakeholder alignment while translating complex work into compelling narratives for diverse audiences
• Drive innovation initiatives from problem framing through launch, championing a culture of experimentation and synthesizing learnings to inform continuous improvement
• Lead system-level design work, ensuring quality, consistency, and adoption of design standards across relevant teams
• Lead team members, providing coaching, goal-setting, and career development support within an inclusive, high-performing team
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 years of experience in hospital or customer service position.
