Job description

Gerber Group is seeking an experienced Events & Sales Manager to drive event sales and oversee the planning and execution of events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale productions of 400+ guests. The compensation for this role is $67,000 annually, plus commission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new event business while managing inbound leads, reservations, and table minimums.
  • Manage events from initial inquiry through execution, including proposals, contracts, budgets, timelines, menus, vendors, and client communication.
  • Conduct site tours, negotiate contracts, and consistently meet or exceed event revenue goals.
  • Build strong client relationships and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across Gerber Group venues.
  • Coordinate closely with culinary, beverage, operations, security, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage outside vendors, entertainment, A/V, décor, photography, and other event needs.
  • Maintain accurate lead, client, event, and financial records.
  • Provide hands-on onsite leadership during events and quickly resolve operational or guest issues.
  • Ensure all events meet Gerber Group service, safety, and brand standards.
