Job description

NABRICO Marine Products is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Lead to play a critical role in building and securing our technological environment from the ground up. This position will lead the implementation, and ongoing management and the evolution of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity programs during a period of rapid transformation and system stand-up.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for establishing secure, scalable, and reliable IT operations across multiple locations. The ideal candidate brings both technical depth and strategic thinking, with the ability to operate independently, influence stakeholders, and build foundational systems that will support long term growth.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Build & Management

  • Design and implement core IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud environments, and end-user computing
  • Establish standards for system architecture, performance, scalability, and uptime
  • Oversee IT vendors, MSPs, and third-party service providers
  • Ensure reliable connectivity and infrastructure across all NABRICO facilities

Cybersecurity Program Development

  • Build and lead NABRICO’s cybersecurity framework, including policies, standards, and controls
  • Implement and manage various security levels, such as endpoint protection, network security, identity and access management (IAM), and threat detection tools, etc.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans, including breach detection and recovery protocols
  • Lead risk assessments, vulnerability management, and remediation efforts

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Establish foundational IT governance and cybersecurity policies aligned with industry’s best practices
  • Support compliance requirements (e.g., customer requirements, audits, basic SOX controls as applicable)
  • Partner with Finance and Legal on risk management and data protection practices
  • Ensure proper documentation of systems, controls, and processes

System Implementation Support

  • Partner with business leaders and IT leadership to support ERP and enterprise system implementations
  • Ensure infrastructure readiness, system security, and integration support for new platforms
  • Assist in vendor selection and technical evaluation

Operations & Support

  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including helpdesk escalation, system monitoring, and issue resolution
  • Establish service levels (SLAs) and performance metrics for IT support
  • Drive continuous improvement in system reliability, security posture, and user experience

Training & Awareness

  • Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training for employees
  • Promote a culture of security, accountability, and operational discipline

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7–10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and/or cybersecurity roles
  • Proven experience building or significantly transforming IT environments
  • Strong knowledge of networking, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), endpoint management, and cybersecurity tools
  • Experience with security frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, etc.)
  • Ability to operate in a hands-on, standalone leadership role

Preferred

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site environments
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations and enterprise systems
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or equivalent
  • Experience in a private equity backed, or high-growth organization
