Job Summary
The Department of History, Anthropology, & Philosophy at the University of North Georgia invites applications for a part-time position in the field of Korea/Korean Studies, with specialization in Korean history (before 1800), Korean art history (premodern or modern), Korean culture, philosophy, and religion in Korea. Candidates in other disciplines with a specialization in Korea may be considered. We welcome applications from scholars whose research and teaching embrace interdisciplinary and / or interregional approaches. In-person teaching on the Dahlonega campus is preferred; however, online teaching will be considered.

Responsibilities

• The part-time faculty member will be responsible for teaching upper level East Asian Studies courses.

Required Qualifications

• PhD in History, Philosophy, Art History, Anthropology, East Asian Studies, Korean Studies, or Asian Studies is required.
