Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand the unique needs of clients and developing tailored treatment plans.
  • Facilitating therapy sessions with couples and families, focusing on areas such as communication difficulties, conflicts among family members, and adjustment to life changes, including separation and divorce.
  • Offering individual therapy sessions to address specific issues such as grief and loss, job stress, and blended family dynamics.
  • Utilizing evidence-based practices to foster a respectful and supportive therapeutic environment that promotes client engagement and positive outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client population will be diverse, encompassing adults, adolescents, and families facing various challenges. You will address a wide range of issues, including but not limited to:

  • Psychological and physical abuse

  • Mother/daughter conflicts
  • Blended family issues and transitions

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role must possess the following qualifications:

  • An active state license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and clinical excellence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues
Preferred Experience

While we welcome newly licensed candidates, we also value experience in therapeutic settings. Flexibility with availability, aiming for 30+ hours per week, will also be an advantage.
