As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand the unique needs of clients and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples and families, focusing on areas such as communication difficulties, conflicts among family members, and adjustment to life changes, including separation and divorce.
• Offering individual therapy sessions to address specific issues such as grief and loss, job stress, and blended family dynamics.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to foster a respectful and supportive therapeutic environment that promotes client engagement and positive outcomes.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.

Your client population will be diverse, encompassing adults, adolescents, and families facing various challenges. You will address a wide range of issues, including but not limited to:

• Alcohol and substance abuse
• Psychological and physical abuse
• Grief and loss
• Job-related stressors
• Mother/daughter conflicts
• Blended family issues and transitions
• Adjustment difficulties related to separation and divorce

The ideal candidate for this role must possess the following qualifications:

• An active state license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field
• A strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and clinical excellence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues

While we welcome newly licensed candidates, we also value experience in therapeutic settings. Candidates with familiarity in working with diverse populations, particularly in outpatient environments, will be preferred. Flexibility with availability, aiming for 30+ hours per week, will also be an advantage.
