Job description

The HR Specialist provides technical and administrative support to Warrant Technologies' Human Resource Services. This role supports day-to-day operations by reviewing and making recommendations on regulations, policies, and practices, with a primary focus on recruitment and compliance. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, knowledge of HR compliance frameworks, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across the organization.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Execute and manage recruitment, selection, workforce planning, and placement activities in compliance with applicable federal and state employment regulations.
Provide staffing, recruitment, and placement services, ensuring compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity ?EEO) and applicable employment law requirements.
Examine laws, policies, rules, procedures, and compliance frameworks; provide informational support and recommendations to program areas and management.
Review and provide recommendations on regulations, policies, and practices under statutes and legal authorities, including federal employment law and DoD directives.
Compile and analyze data to develop recruitment metrics, compliance reports, and HR analytics to inform business decisions and track progress.
Gather, maintain, and store official records related to recruitment, staffing actions, and compliance documentation in accordance with applicable record retention requirements.
Provide support in documenting processes, initiating meetings, scheduling, reporting, and coordination across organizations.
Provide guidance and information to employees and supervisors regarding HR policies, recruitment procedures, and compliance requirements.
Provide documentation support including scanning, copying, reviewing, uploading, and organizing documents and forms related to recruitment and HR administration.
Monitor and ensure adherence to HR policies, compliance procedures, and regulatory requirements across program areas.
Requirements
3+ years' experience providing human resources specialist or assistant support, with demonstrated experience in recruitment and compliance.
Strong knowledge of federal HR compliance frameworks, Equal Employment Opportunity ?EEO) regulations, and DoD hiring requirements.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and human resources information systems ?HRIS?. Strong writing and documentation skills suitable for formal government deliverables and compliance reports.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage recurring deadlines and multiple recruitment cycles.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with defense or technology industry environments and requirements.
Previous experience managing recruitment processes, candidate screening, or staffing actions. Previous experience supporting management or leads in HR functions.
Knowledge of affirmative action and diversity/inclusion initiatives.
Experience with HR analytics and ability to develop and maintain reports and metrics. HR certification ?PHR, SHRM?CP) or equivalent professional development.
