Torch Technologies is seeking a qualified and experienced Collateral Security Manager to support the JIATF-401. In this role, the Collateral Security Manager supports JIATF security operations and assists the SCIF Security Manager in administering collateral security requirements. This position is responsible for managing visit authorizations, clearance validations, security documentation, training compliance, and daily facility security checks in accordance with Department of War Instructions (DoDI), Army Regulations , local SOPs, and DoD security requirements. The Collateral Security Manager works closely with the COR, Government Security POCs, and host unit security offices to ensure full compliance with information, personnel, and physical security policies.


As Collateral Security Manageryour duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Process and coordinate all incoming and outgoing Visit Authorization Requests (VARs).

  • Validate security clearances and access eligibility using the Defense Information Security System (DISS).

  • Maintain DISS access and manage Physical Access Control Accounts through PFPA.

  • Maintain records of VARs in accordance with Army regulation and local physical security/resource protection SOPs.

  • Prepare and process outgoing VARs for Government, civilian, and contractor personnel.

  • Coordinate incoming visits with government and issue appropriate visitor badges based on clearance level

  • Review documents for proper classification markings and provide guidance on classification requirements.

  • Review and assist with updates to JIATF 401 security SOPs.

  • Assist the SCIF Security Manager as required.

  • Ensure End-of-Day security checks are completed for all JIATF 401 suites as directed by government Security Manager

  • Conduct daily Protected Distribution System (PDS) checks.

  • Ensure incoming personnel receive required training (SETA) on:

    • Escort procedures

    • Information Security

    • Derivative classification

    • Local security procedures

  • Ensure annual refresher training is conducted.

  • Process SAAR for network access.

  • Manage DISS clearances and VARs for all collateral-level security requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of experience reviewing and communicating security responsibilities prior to granting system access

  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

  • Experience with:

    • DISS

    • PSIP (US Army personnel security program of record)

    • VAR submissions


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of joint and US Army security policies and regulations

  • Experience supporting classified environments and secure facilities

  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

  • Ability to work effectively with Government leadership and security offices
