Sandy Pines is seeking a dynamic and talented Risk Coordinator! This is Full Time  - Exempt Position. Sandy Pines is a 149 bed Residential Psychiatric Facility servicing children and adolescents ages 5 to 17. The facility is located in beautiful sub-tropical South Florida and is nestled beside Jonathan Dickinson Sate Park which creates a rustic, roomy outdoor atmosphere. Sandy Pines is at the county line of both Palm Beach and Martin Counties and is just minutes away from the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.

Job description:
 
Under the supervision of the Director of Risk Management / Performance Improvement provides guidance to reduce operational risk and provide guidance and direction to keep the facility accredited within the guidelines of JC and other regulatory agencies.

  • Performance Improvement
  • Follows all levels of confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Complies with safety and security policies and procedures, including those regarding incidents and injuries.
  • Understands and complies with the intent of the Corporate Compliance Program.
  • Ensures appropriate and timely reporting of occurrences; enters incidents into the Midas Database.
  • Demonstrates the necessary computer skills to perform reporting, documentation and day to day duties

Qualifications
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's preferred along with one to two years experience with children and adolescents preferred. Previous behavioral health experience would be a plus. Must be organized and detail oriented and have excellent computer (above average working knowledge of Microsoft office) and customer service experience
  • Three years clinical experience in a psychiatric inpatient facility with knowledge of high- risk areas.
