Position Overview

We are seeking to hire a Manager, Development Analytics and Capital to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a development initiative for the Weston family. In partnership with Wittington Investments Limited, you'll work closely with internal teams and development partners to support smart, datadriven decisionmaking across the full development lifecycle.

As a manager, you'll help evaluate project performance, inform capital allocation, and shape developments that deliver longterm value and create places where people thrive. This is a handson, fastpaced role suited for a curious, selfdriven professional who enjoys balancing multiple projects, turning complex analysis into clear insights, and proactively solving problems as part of a collaborative team. With exposure to largescale developments, senior leadership, and strategic planning, this role offers an exciting opportunity to grow your career in real estate development!

Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite and maintain dynamic and complex development proforma and cash flow models for single and multi-phase development projects
  • Critically evaluate proforma assumptions and conduct relevant market research
  • Prepare financial analysis, development scenarios, and sensitivity analysis to inform decision making and evaluate development options
  • Regularly evaluate market conditions to identify changes that give rise to opportunities to further maximize returns or mitigate risks
  • Proactively monitor project performance by tracking financial performance, schedules, and construction progress
  • Assist the team with preparing business plan presentations and handling other related ad hoc tasks
  • Perform budget-to-actual variance analysis for ongoing projects and attain a comprehensive grasp of incurred costs versus estimated costs to complete, ensuring a clear understanding of project financials
  • Build strong relationships across project teams to effectively understand all projects within the masterplan
  • Assist in the preparation of Monthly and Quarterly reporting materials for leadership and ownership groups
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant real estate investment or development experience working within a development firm or financial institution
  • Post-secondary education in real estate, business, finance, economics, or related field
  • Strong, in-depth understanding of the full development lifecycle
  • Proven experience operating and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Critical and strategic thinker who identifies risks and opportunities and applies creative problem-solving to deliver high-performance outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and colleagues across the organization
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to deliver results and achieve desired outcomes
  • Familiarity with the latest AI tools is considered a strong asset
  • An MBA or a professional designation (e.g., CFA, CPA, AACI) is considered a strong asset
