Row Crop Planning Full Season Unit Lead 

         

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Row Crop Planning Full Season Unit Lead, are to: 

  • Function as the Home Leader for the Row Crop Planning Full Season Unit and be responsible for career coaching, mentoring, and long-term development guidance for its team members;
  • Facilitate formal performance management, compensation and recognition plan while collaboratively assessing skill development and impact within work teams;
  • Set strategic vision for the Unit so employees can connect their daily work to the 5-year framework and broader Bayer mission, Health for All, Hunger for None;
  • Drive proficiency in DSO operating model by integrating and catalyzing teams across functions to achieve aligned outcomes that accelerate the enterprise;
  • Coach to work in 90-day cycles and enabling the highest priority work through dynamic resource flow;
  • Accountable for the development, implementation and improvement of the future year crop plans enabling SBP margin targets in excess of $6B USD;
  • Ensure appropriate alignment and achievement of Inventory to Sales Ratios for the Northa America Row Crops team with inventory values of $1.5B USD;
  • Support and coach team members to achieve Supply and Allocation plans that are measurable to drive customer satisfaction;
  • Accountable for obsolescence and discard processes to achieve annual margin targets.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field;
  • Business Acumen with a full understanding of Row Crop network and its limitations, and the ability to anticipate challenges in market dynamics;
  • Strong communication with the ability to build trust across broad stakeholder teams and drive enterprise solutions;
  • Financial acumen and basic finance/accounting/budgeting/cost control/schedule control/inventory management principles to aid in decision making; 
  • Coaching with the ability to motivate and inspire cross functional work teams and developing skills of Home Team members;
  • Strategic Thinking and ability to work with challenging teams to co-create outcomes using a creative mindset that takes risks and challenges the status quo.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of functional management experience.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $178,320.00 to $267,480.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
