Location: NJ
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay Range: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced production environment and take pride in producing high-quality products while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Position Summary

The Blender/Fragrance Compounder is responsible for accurately weighing, blending, and processing fragrance batches according to established formulas and specifications. This individual will operate compounding equipment, maintain GMP documentation, ensure compliance with quality standards, and support overall production objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process fragrance batches according to approved formulas, specifications, and procedures.
  • Stage, weigh, and transfer raw materials for production activities.
  • Operate blending and compounding equipment including mixers, pumps, scales, and other production machinery.
  • Clean and sanitize tanks, processing equipment, pumps, and production areas.
  • Complete GMP documentation, batch records, logbooks, and production reports accurately and on time.
  • Follow all cGMP, FDA, safety, and company requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Utilize proper inventory management practices, including FIFO (First In, First Out) material rotation.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Maintain product quality standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Meet established productivity, attendance, safety, and quality goals.
  • Work overtime as needed to support business requirements.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of fragrance, flavor, or related compounding experience required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
  • Forklift certification is a plus; training may be provided.
  • Ability to wear steel-toe footwear and all required PPE.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to fragrance and flavor ingredients.
  • Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods.
